About Us

 

The Wednesday Morning Music Club of Austin, TX was founded in 1923.  A large active club with many performing members, we sponsor several annual awards for young musicians, and support the community through contributions and music outreach. 

 

The purpose of our organization is:

* to develop and maintain high musical standards in the community,

* to encourage music education,

* to promote serious American music and artists,

* and to provide opportunities for performance for active members.
